Comprehensive hearing assessment services are available in our Audiology Clinics. Services are available to children, young adults and senior citizens.
Services include:
• On-site audiological evaluations
• Hearing aid evaluations and prescriptions
We provide individuals who have speech/language impairments or are non-verbal with an alternative means of communication such as letter/picture boards and electronic devices.
Services include:
Assessment and recommendations including direct speech therapy or occupational therapy services related to the use of augmentative communication devices and assistive technology, in addition to family/caregiver training.
Designed for individuals who have deficits in swallowing due to acute or chronic illness.
Services include:
• Assessment and recommendations which may include change of diet
• Direct speech pathology intervention and family/caregiver training.
• Mobility Equipment/Devices (power/manual wheelchairs, scooters, walkers)
• Assessment and prescription for an array of wheelchairs; designed custom seating systems, walker, canes and other mobility devices.
• Assessment and prescription for bathroom equipment (tub benches, shower chairs, commodes)
• Direct Care Equipment (hoyer lifts, transfer devices, helmets)
• Evaluate and assess for various orthotic devices (ankle/foot orthosis ,AFO, upper extremity splints)
• Braces
• Customized shoes & body jackets
• Upper extremity splints (custom or pre-fabricated)
Our highly trained professional team of physiatrists, occupational and physical therapists and speech language pathologists, concentrate their efforts on providing the best services possible, focusing on abilities rather than their disabilities. Our vendors are certified by the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America (RESNA) a standard in the healthcare industry. Our centers are equipped to assess, prescribe, order, and maintain a variety of rehabilitative equipment and devices. Patients are offered an array of options to meet their rehabilitative needs.
